This is one the earliest fancy grade guitars made by noted luthier TJ Thompson.
The guitar is a re-imagining of a 1930 OM-45 Deluxe but with a pyramid bridge (and a little extra abalone inlay). Two OM-45 guitars were originally made with pyramid bridges but neither of these were a Deluxe model.
The fingerboard and headstock inlay are reproductions of theĀ inays from a 1901 Martin 00-42S guitar. The pick guard inlay was copied from an original 1930 OM-45 Deluxe.
The tuners are an early set of re-issued Waverly gold plated and engraved banjo tuners with mother-of-pearl buttons.
The serial number 015 indicated it was the 15th guitar made by TJ Thompson up to that point. Thompson now uses a different numbering system.
Back and sides: Brazilian rosewood
